Knowing the 3 Aspects of God in Life

The Father's selection and Predestination, Speaking forth God's Eternal Purpose

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved

Abraham was the called out one who became a vessel to bring in God's will. The Father spent time with Abraham, was his friend and confidant.

The Son's Redemption, Speaking Forth the Accomplishment of God's Eternal Purpose

7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Himself,
10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.
11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory;

Isaac never went outside of Canaan and merely enjoyed the riches of the inheritance as the son.

Quote:
The Spirit's Sealing and Pledging, Speaking forth the application of God's Accomplished Purpose

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
(The Spirit applies ownership)
14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Jacob learned the discipline of the Holy Spirit through suffering to become Israel.

So, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit all work together to bring the believer to the point of maturity, first calling, then enjoying, then learning the discipline of becoming a nation of kingly priests.

It never says that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph but Joseph shows the results of dealing with the 3 aspects of God where he reigns in a kingdom not made with his own hands.

Church

I was amazed at church yesterday. Not having been there for quite awhile b/c I wasn't comfortable with the politics that were happening, I really felt I should attend yesterday. Much to my dismay, as the pastor was preaching about the goodness of God, the overhead was showing a graphic of an ATM machine raining down $$$$$ What, I ask, does God have to do with mammon????? Talk about over-kill of the topic. Sin is missing the mark and falling short of the target. If the target is storing up treasures in heaven for a life eternal, which btw is God's only offer!!!! then their aim is way way off. Blind leading the blind. Only problem for them is they have my old and nearly dead prayer warriors for an audience. Their only friend seemed to be Maxine, who is of the drunken laughing set who I know for a fact (?) only goes along with it for the popularity it brings her as president of Aglow. And of course the imports. They have lost all the young people :sigh: Prayerfully they won't bring in more who can't see beyond this age.I feel sorry yet so proud of the strong faith of the few who hold on week after week in the Lord's service to be there for Him alone. I have committed to be there for them with prayer and for the Lord. Looking forward to great and wonderful things in the Lord.

I love this picture of Jesus being alive while the soldiers are guarding the tomb and everyone else is going about their business, thinking that the powers that be have it all contained to their ways, and nothing can change that. And then their's Jesus, who is just continueing on His way regardless of the human race's acceptance, permission or acknowledgement.

My life is so much like that. I think everything is just as I perscribed it, and then there's Jesus. I can't keep Him dead and buried because He's alive and carrying out His plan in my life. I'm just like those soldiers that know that death awaits the old me if He gets loose. Well, what can I do but rejoice that He's alive.

An Awesome Poem written by an awesome brother

“Come out from there heed my command
Obey then I will heal your land
Waters will part I’ll turn the tide
If you accept to join my bride

I am the Lord, holy and just
You need my help I want your trust
I’ll take your shame I’ll take your doubt
I’ll give you faith, and send you out

Come out, from all that filth you’re in
Give up your life of wayward sin
Cast out the devil’s tempting thought
Believe instead my true report

A time will come, when on your own
With heavy heart, you only groan
But look to me your God above
I’ll not be slow to show my love

My Holy Ghost, to you I’ll give
He’ll teach you, how you ought to live
He’ll speak of me He’ll take your fears
And comfort you throughout your years

My gentle Spirit’s full of love
He’ll come to you just like a dove
Continued sin within His sight
May grieve Him so to take His flight

Make Christ your Lord, for Christ is true
Be holy; for I’m holy too
My secret things, will I disclose
To you my child, my fragrant rose

Priceless things, I long to give
When you decide with me to live
Not one good thing will I withhold
From you who walk my streets of gold”

The Strength of Your Love Jesus is my Rock

The strength in Your love
keeps moving me on
Forward one step at a time

In Your grace Your
bringing me home
Your way is so subline

Like a city on a hill
Your light for all to see
Your love breaks through the darkness
showing the way for me
I love You, Jesus

Though it be
just one step
You give Your all to me.
I love You, Jesus

Jesus is my Rock

Jesus is my rock
He is my salvation
Tho the world curse and groan
He is still my own

Nothing can come between
the love He has for me
I've chosen no longer to eat
from the forbidden tree

Only from the tree of life
from hence His life flows
I've chosen to only know
what His life given has shown

To be true and shun all fasehoods
to be found within His word
To be doing all I've seen
as well as all I've heard

Of the great and mighty Teacher
the One who died for me
The One religion rejected
Who died upon a tree

From the leaves that give the healing
from the vine which flows the sap
from the roots deep within Him
for Him, from Him. He fills the gap.

The Trial of the night

John 11:9-10
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

What's that Buzz? Tell me whats ahappening

Well, I have to admit thats the first forum I've ever been banned from. I've had warnings and infractions of the rules but it appears they have a zero tolerance for one of there rules. Wow, I lasted there less than a week. Oh well.

I have still to catch up on the updating posts on my blog in the room off this one. "Why do the Nations Rage" haha When I figger out that answer I'll have overcome evil in my own life!!! After all rage pretty much got me banned.

I don't like being on forums anyway so no big loss. I'm tired of CF too, altho my acct is still open I have no desire to be there. All I have to do now is fill in the time that I used to spend on them. I need some new habits. But spring is here and the blossoms are on the trees. Beautiful. Praise you Lord!!!I still have the gallery work so thats good.

God of all grace

1 Peter 5:10
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

While the title “God of all grace” occurs only in 1 Peter 5:10, “grace” in the developed sense discussed above is found no less than 106 times in 98 verses. "God of all grace" is a defining term of the Christian faith, for the Father, as the “God of all grace,” has chosen to call “us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus.”

John Wesley's Notes on the Bible
1Pe 5:10
Verse 10. Now the God of all grace - By which alone the whole work is begun, continued, and finished in your soul. After ye have suffered a while - A very little while compared with eternity. Himself - Ye have only to watch and resist the devil: the rest God will perform. Perfect - That no defect may remain. Stablish - That nothing may overthrow you. Strengthen - That ye may conquer all adverse power. And settle you - As an house upon a rock. So the apostle, being converted, does now "strengthen his brethren."

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

At the atonment seat of mercy we find acceptance with God by believing His word to be true — that when our sins were covered by blood, God overlooks our sins as it they had been obliterated when Jesus Christ becomes our permanent atonement cover. Through Jesus’ blood, our sins have been covered over. When God looks at us, He doesn’t see our sin, but the provision that His own Son. Jesus, who layed down His life for us as an innocent sacrifice so that God would look on us and see His perfection.

Genesis 2

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested [a] from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Adam and Eve Created to work the ground

4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.
When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens- 5 and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth [b] and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth [c] and there was no man to work the ground,

The Father gave us the world to look after and just asks that we remember Who it really belongs to. Do the work God has given you to do, but He wants us to always rest a day completely because we are weak and just made from the dust that we work with.

Alleluia

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Mark 16:5-6

Christ the Lord Is Risen Today

Charles Wesley, 1707-1788

1. Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

2. Love's redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!

3. Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where's thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!

4. Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

5. Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia!
Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia!
Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia!
Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!

6. King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia!
Everlasting life is this, Alleluia!
Thee to know, thy power to prove, Alleluia!
Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!

Feeling Groovey

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoWF2YalYvI&feature=related

Its beautiful spring day, the sun is shining and the buds are coming on the trees. I've got all kinds of plants coming up but I can't tell just yet what they are. I have gay feathers, that I know. And creeping Jenny. Two of my trailing phlox died over the winter and so did the Rosemary. I'm hoping the Eachenasia that I planted last year will return, its in a big pot on the porch so we'll see.
I'm trying to post here every day, but right now it's so early in the morning that I need fuelll.
